David Jones recently teamed up with Sara Donaldson and her blog Harper & Harley to create a series of key denim looks for the season.  Check out photos from the shoot by Leila created at our On Seven at David Jones Elizabeth street space.

”Jeans are one of those pieces that we all love and need but can sometimes be really tricky and downright exhausting to find a style that suits your shape and also to get your right size, basically to find your denim soul mate! ….. I would like to open up your eyes to styles and colours that I like to turn to and are easy to style and work in with the rest of your wardrobe.”  says Sara Donaldson.

What are your tips for finding the perfect pair of jeans?
Working out your size is a huge factor in finding the perfect pair of jeans, there is nothing worse than an ill fitting jean. You want to make sure the waist band is firm as its most likely going to stretch with wear, as most denim fabrics do. I also like to go for a thicker denim especially for skinny jeans as it helps to slim you down even more.

What would your denim look consist of for the weekend?
One of my weekend looks in winter that can easily go from running errands to catching up with friends is a great pair of black jeans - J-brand's Mid Rise Skinny Leg jeans looks great with a knit such as a striped one from Bassike. I love an ankle boot with a slight heel, check out Chloe's boots - They go together with the outfit perfectly.
